Julie Hall, MSN, RN, Chief Nursing Officer and Vice President of Patient Services at Bassett Medical Center, has been awarded the prestigious 2023 Region Leadership Award for the Northeast Region by the New York Organization for Nursing Leadership (NYONL). The award is conferred in recognition of exemplary leadership within an institution, the community, and the nursing profession.
“I am humbled and honored to follow all the legacy leaders that have received this award before me,” said Hall. “I will continue to press forward encouraging the amazing leaders around me at Bassett, within the region, the state, and nationally to be advocates, innovators, and inspirational influences to lead others in improving the health of our communities.”

Hall is working toward her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree from Case Western Reserve University. This degree is recognized by the American Association of Colleges of Nursing as the highest level of preparation for clinical nursing. The rigorous doctoral program leading to this highly respected degree is designed to expand the focus of the participants in practice leadership, educational leadership, and executive leadership.
