The Workforce Development Board (WDB), Herkimer, Madison, Oneida Counties, Inc., is offering a free virtual job fair on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, from 11:00am to 1:00pm, for all businesses and job seekers in the following counties: Herkimer, Madison, Oneida, Onondaga, Chenango, Delaware, and Otsego.
Workforce Development Board staff will also be available to talk with job seekers about how our training grant programs can help individuals get started in a good paying career.
The online event is sponsored by the WDB’s Regional Apprenticeship Development and Readiness (RADAR) grant project.
“Our Virtual Job Fair not only provides job seekers the ability to explore various career paths, it also offers local businesses the chance to meet one-on-one in a virtual environment to recruit employees,” says RADAR Case Manager Brianne Nobile. “Our staff will also be attending to provide details regarding FREE training and job readiness skills, such as our upcoming Trades Pre-Apprenticeship Program. In this program, job seekers will have the opportunity to obtain their OSHA-30 certification, gain transferable and in-demand skills, as well as interview with local hiring employers upon completion. For more information, please contact Brianne Nobile at bnobile@working-solutions.org”
