First Source holds “Socks to the Rescue” Drive To assist the Rescue Missions of Utica and Rome

First Source Federal Credit Union will be holding a month-long sock drive to assist the Rescue Missions of Utica and Rome. The event will kick off this Friday, January 10th at the Utica University Men’s Hockey Game. Bring a pair of new socks to the First Source Experience Truck parked at the Labatt’s entrance of the Adirondack Bank Center prior to puck drop (5:30 – 6:45 p.m.) and receive a $5 concession stand voucher to be used that evening at the game.

Beginning Monday, January 13th all First Source Branch locations will also be collecting new socks, or you can order online here: https://www.amazon.com/registries/gl/guest-view/LQKIKYK431VB and the socks will ship directly to First Source. The drive will end on Friday, February, 14th with delivery to the Rescue Missions.

Socks are often in high demand at rescue missions, especially during the winter months. Please help us to provide warm & dry socks for those vulnerable that spend most days outside.
