We are excited to announce the launch of the 2025 Excellus BlueCross BlueShield Health & Wellness Awards! These annual awards recognize, and support organizations committed to creating healthier communities across the spectrum of health and wellness.

 

This year, the awards are focused on the following areas:

• Preventive Health: Initiatives that promote proactive physical and emotional wellness. These include annual physicals and screenings.
• Maternal Health: Initiatives that aim to improve the health and wellbeing of women during pregnancy, childbirth, and the postnatal period.
• Behavioral/Mental Health: Initiatives that provide accessible and comprehensive mental health support.
• Chronic Condition Management: Efforts to improve the quality of life for those with chronic illness through comprehensive care and support.
• Social Determinants of Health: Initiatives that address economic stability, education access and quality, health care access and quality, social and community context, and the neighborhood and built environment.

 

By focusing on these areas, the awards aim to inspire a comprehensive approach to wellness, encouraging the communities we serve to lead balanced, healthy, and fulfilling lives.

 

How to apply: Applications will be accepted from March 1^st to June 30^th via our online portal. Organizations with programs and initiatives that align with our focus areas are encouraged to apply.
