During this time of unprecedented uncertainty, Empower Federal Credit Union, in partnership with EVERFI, a nationally acclaimed digital financial education company, would like to provide an opportunity for students, grades 7–10 to have some fun and learn critical financial concepts by participating in the first-of-a-kind, EVERFI National Financial Bee.

 

This first-of-a-kind nationwide financial literacy online challenge will take place April 20-24.

 

Here’s How It Works…
Students can participate in just 3 easy steps:

1. Students in grades 7–10 sign up for the National Financial Bee at empowerfcu.com/scholarships

 

2. Students must complete the 5 lessons – 1) spending & saving;  2) credit & debit;  3) employment & income;  4) investing and planning for the future;  5) risk & insurance;  (each module will take ~10 minutes each)

 

3. The student submits a short essay on their biggest financial dream and how they plan to achieve it. (by May 8^th) – And, three winners of the National Financial Bee will receive up to $10,000 in college scholarships and Empower will be giving 5-$100 Target gift cards!*
