The Center for Family Life and Recovery (CFLR) is excited to announce that after two years, the Annual Breakfast event has returned. This year it will be We cannot wait to share stories of recovery, hope and prevention this year. Never has it been more important to lift up the accomplishments of those that believe in the power of recovery and the change possible in our community.
The leaders of the Mohawk Valley have long been known for coming together, pitching in, and addressing any issues we face. We work together for the good of the community. The battle against substance abuse, and most recently the opioid crisis, is no different – our community partners in business, government, media, and service have accepted the challenge and have made great inroads in helping individuals and families overcome their addictions and to prevent others from following this same path.
We invite you to support the event and help honor our Amethyst Award Recipient. The Amethyst Award is given to a member of our community who have helped others by inspiring them with the message of hope and recovery in the fields of mental health and chemical dependency, as well as treatment and prevention.
Supporting this event shows your commitment to battle against addiction and your support of recovery and prevention. Tickets to this worthy event are only $25. Tickets, ads and sponsorships are at our event webpage CFLR Annual Breakfast – Center for Family Life and Recovery (whenthereshelpthereshope.com). Funds raised through this event will help so many in our community, not only those in recovery, but also through our prevention programming and education and family services.
