The 2023 Boilermaker Youth Olympics presented by Bank of America will take place Thursday, July 6 at TR Proctor Park in Utica from 10 a.m.-12 p.m.
The annual free event is coordinated through the City of Utica Youth Bureau. Participants aged 5-12 come from various youth programs across the city and a community team open to children from the public.
The games will take place on Sal Longo Field and will range from sack races and disc toss competitions to relay races. All participants receive a light breakfast, lunch and a free t-shirt.
“The Youth Olympics is a fantastic event whose goal is to provide children with a fun and
healthy activity,” said Mark Donovan, President, Boilermaker. “This is a fantastic kickoff to
Boilermaker weekend and we love to see the kids compete in friendly games that truly foster the spirit of competition.”
Volunteers from Bank of America and employees from the city’s Youth Bureau will be on hand to direct the games and ensure that the day is fun and safe.

There are limited spots remaining on the community team. Anyone wishing to participate in the event should call the Youth Bureau at 315-223-4320 by Wednesday, July 5 at 5p.m.
