The Arc, Oneida-Lewis Chapter has been awarded $75,395 in grants from the Trustee Management Board of NYSARC Trust Services to support its guardianship and recreation programs.
NYSARC Trust Services administers supplemental needs trusts (SNT) and pooled trusts that can dramatically improve the lives of people with disabilities by enabling individuals to maintain financial eligibility for Medicaid and other means-tested government benefit programs. For 2022, NYSARC Trust Services is proud to fulfill its commitment to enhancing the lives of people with disabilities by awarding a total of $3,189,968 to The Arc New York Chapters statewide.
The Arc, Oneida-Lewis received $47,000 to support its Guardianship Program. With the help of chapter staff and community volunteers, The Arc, Oneida-Lewis currently provides guardianship services to seven people and is ready to assist seven more as a Standby or Alternate Standby guardian.
NYSARC Trust Services also awarded The Arc, Oneida-Lewis with $28,395 to support and enhance new recreational opportunities that enrich the lives of the 1,400 people it serves.
