Rob and Hillary Dunn were presented with a $1,000 “Staffworks Spirit” award for being champions for animals that otherwise might not have a chance at life.
They have long exhibited true giving and kindness to animals. Governor Cuomo even recognized them for purchasing and preparing Thanksgiving meals for 80 dogs at the Stevens Swan Humane Society in Utica. Some of the cats joined in too!
Rob and Hillary started this tradition in 2019 and it is just one of the many generous things they do throughout the year for animals in need.
Rob has worked at the shelter for ten years and Hillary has volunteered for the past five and all their dogs were adopted from the Stevens-Swan Humane Society.
Rob and Hillary are truly animal advocates and some might even call them “Animal Angels.”
