Amy DeMetri, Executive Vice President of First Source Federal Credit Union was appointed to the American Heart Association’s local Board of Directors. In addition to serving on this board, she has been appointed to a leadership role for this year’s Go Red for Women’s “Circle of Red” Committee. Along with Jennifer Keida of Standard Insulating Co., DeMetri will Co-Chair this initiative. In her role, DeMetri is tasked with sharing heart health education and fundraising opportunities reaching new women. They in turn share with women they know, continually growing the circle of knowledge.

The Circle of Red is a group of women who are heart health champions. They are committed to the cause of raising heart health awareness and funds in an engaging and meaningful way. In communities throughout the United States, Circle of Red members use their influence, generosity and passion to help increase awareness of cardiovascular disease – the leading cause of death in women – and to inspire women to take charge of their health. As a thank you, these women are afforded the opportunity attend exclusive special events and VIP experiences and have the esteemed recognition of being a Circle of Red Member.
