On Friday, January 26 AmeriCU Credit Union teamed up with the Utica University Pioneers Men’s Hockey team as they took on Nazareth University Golden Flyers at the Adirondack Bank Center. The event brought together fans, players, and the community for an evening filled with excitement and fun.
During the night, AmeriCU brought together community members who are dedicated to creating a positive impact. Mayor Jeffrey Lanigan, Kari Puleo, Executive Director of Greater Utica Chamber of Commerce, and Kristen Skobla, President and CEO of Rome Area Chamber of Commerce joined Ron Belle, President and CEO of AmeriCU, in a ceremonial puck drop at the start of the game. The credit union hosted a table with giveaways for fans to enjoy. Young athletes from the local community enjoyed an exciting match up on the ice between the first and second period.
