AmeriCU’s hockey jersey auction in support of The Carol M. Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Fund of CNY, Inc. set a new record for funds donated this year.
At the AmeriCU sponsored game, held annually in conjunction with Utica College Men’s Hockey Team, fans and attendees can bid on a special Collector’s Edition Pink Jersey. All proceeds benefit breast cancer research in Central New York. Utica College coaches Gary Heenan and Nick Therrien recently announced that, this year, AmeriCU’s jersey auction raised $3,450, the highest amount ever raised.
“AmeriCU has been a longtime supporter of both the Utica College Pioneers and the Carol M. Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Fund,” said Julie Tramacera-Miri, Marketing & Events Coordinator for AmeriCU. “The fact that we’re able to combine the two and raise money that stays right in our area makes this jersey auction all the more special.”
