2024 marked a special milestone as AmeriCU Credit Union proudly celebrated 25 years of sponsoring the annual Fort Drum Tree Lighting Event. This cherished tradition brings together military families and the greater Fort Drum community to celebrate the holiday season with joy, warmth, and togetherness.

Every year, AmeriCU adds an extra touch of magic by gifting 300 teddy bears to children attending the event. These cherished keepsakes have become a beloved tradition symbolizing AmeriCU’s ongoing commitment to spreading holiday cheer and supporting families during this special time of the year.

 

The annual tree lighting event is a cornerstone of the Fort Drum holiday season, featuring festive lights, music, and a visit from Santa Claus. AmeriCU’s sponsorship helps ensure the event remains a memorable experience for all attendees.
