WHO/WHAT: The Arc’s School To Work programs’ thirteenth annual end-of-year ceremony and celebration.

WHEN: Tuesday, June 4th, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. sharp. The hour-long ceremony is followed by a short reception.

WHERE: In the Utica University Frank E. Gannett Memorial Library Concourse (lower level) located at 1600 Burrstone Road in Utica.

WHY: Over one hundred students from school districts across Oneida and Lewis Counties will be in attendance and receive moving-up or graduation certificates from The Arc’s School To Work programs at this event, which is open to school districts and families. Awards will also be presented to honored dignitaries and school districts.

ABOUT SCHOOL TO WORK: The Arc’s School To Work programs provide transition services for students with disabilities in grades 7-12 throughout school districts in Oneida and Lewis Counties. Training includes classroom and community-based instruction, job shadowing and exploration, internships, and work experiences. Services are provided within the special education continuum of services, including indirect and direct teacher consulting, resource room programs, and special classes. School To Work offers a variety of programs to meet individual student’s needs, with the ability to customize these programs for school districts.
