Broadway Utica is proud to present “BAKE AND BROADWAY”. A fun virtual class for the whole family. This event will be hosted through ZOOM on Wednesday, February 24th at 6:30pm and is approximately 45 minutes long. Our chef for the night is Registered Dietitian Hayley Mielnicki. You will learn how to prepare cheerful, healthy and easy snacks inspired by Broadway Classics such as Beauty and the Beast, Lion King and Frozen. Enjoy some of your favorite songs from these hit musicals while preparing a variety of refreshments. Ovens are not required for this sweetly curated class. This is a perfect opportunity for the whole family to gather together and relish in an activity that is appropriate for all ages.

About Hayley: Hayley Mielnicki is a Registered Dietitian- Nutritionist living in Upstate New York. Currently employed at Oneida-Herkimer-Madison BOCES and Utica City Schools as a School Dietitian creating the breakfast and lunch menus for 16 local districts. She was attracted to the field of dietetics through her passion for cooking, and was inspired by having grown up in a family that valued healthy eating and that supported local agriculture. After graduating from Johnson and Wales University, earning a degree in culinary nutrition with a concentration in dietetics in 2017, Hayley continued on to a Dietetic Internship at Syracuse University. The recipes on HealthbyHayl are created to fuel each and every body, catering to any substitutions that are needed. So, feel free to mix and match, eyeball some measurements and get messy!
