After a 15-year career in the staffing services industry, in 1994, Anita Vitullo opened a staffing services office in Utica. Today, Staffworks has eight offices making it the largest independently owned staffing company in Central NY.

Staffworks provides a full range of business, manufacturing, distribution, technical, professional and health care staffing services. Hundreds of clients utilize Staffworks for temporary, temp to hire and direct placement services.

Staffworks profits support the Staffworks Fund established in 2005 at the Community Foundation of Herkimer & Oneida Counties. In 2018 the Staffworks Fund became the first $10 million donor fund at the Community Foundation. The primary focus of the Staffworks Fund is supporting non-profit organizations that provide direct care and services for at-risk animals in local communities.
