Ross’s remarkable career with Indium Corporation began in 1996 as a product specialist and has taken him through leadership roles in technical support, market development, and international operations, including serving as President of Indium Corporation’s Asia Holdings while living in Singapore. Today, he leads the global materials science company from its Mohawk Valley roots, overseeing its strategy, operations, and continued innovation around the world.
Founded in 1934, Indium Corporation has grown into an international leader serving the electronics, semiconductor, advanced packaging, and thermal management industries. With more than 1,400 employees and a worldwide manufacturing and technical support network, the company remains deeply rooted in the region while helping power technologies shaping the future — from artificial intelligence and high-performance computing to advanced electronics and critical materials.
The 2026 Businessperson of the Year celebration will recognize Ross’s leadership, commitment to people and innovation, and the extraordinary global impact of a company that continues to call the Mohawk Valley home. The celebration will be held this fall, with the date and venue to be announced soon.
