scoutingcny has relocated to 320 Herkimer Rd, Utica 📣 As the Council closes the chapter on 1401 Genesee Street, it does so with immense gratitude. For decades, that building served as the heart of Scouting in the Mohawk Valley — a place where thousands of young people were inspired, leaders were developed, and lifelong connections were made. Established in 1957 and a devoted partner of the Leatherstocking Council, the Rutter Foundation's commitment to the mission of Scouting America has been a cornerstone of the Council's presence in this community. That legacy of generosity will not be forgotten, and the Council looks forward to carrying the spirit of that partnership into its bright new future

The Utica Memorial Auditorium has officially been renamed to the nbtbankarena📣 The agreement was awarded through a competitive bidding process and marks a long-term investment in one of the region's premier entertainment and community venues. This marks a new, exciting chapter for one of Central New York's most iconic destinations while preserving the legacy and history of the Utica Memorial Auditorium, which has served generations of residents and visitors since it was constructed in 1959.
